Located at 1360 m above sea level Rewalsar lake is famous for it floating islands. Confluence of three religions Rewalsar is a sacred pilgrimage for Hindus, Sikhs and Budhists. Devotees from all over the world visit the holy lake. It is a land of Lomas Rishi and there are ancient Hindu temples here. Budhists believe that in the cluster of floating-reed the spirit of Guru Padamsambhava resides.
